This genealogy
site for Menasco, Manasco, Monasco, Frakes, Kimberling, Henley. This
all began with sister Elizabeth Ann (Betty)
Menasco Kimberling
with not enough work to keep her occupied. Betty
got a hold of Ms. Virginia O'Neal
Norman in DeSoto, Texas who had researched 'Menasco' and gave Betty
some 240 pages in her book 'Roots and Leaves, A history and Genealogy of Descendants of
James Menasco. Betty acquired a copy of Family Tree Maker (FTM) software and
begin inputting her data and the data from Ms. Norman's book. The result as
of December 1998 is Adobe Acrobat .pdf file 'menasco_tree'. The bookmarks on the left of
the page include: As with all projects of this kind lots of this menasco/frakes genealogy
page is under construction. If you have interest in any of the data or have
something to add, update or correct please give us a shout.

- There are four pages in the
Menascos web page
designed to make your analysis less painful. If you have corrections or
additions to this data please contact e-mail me
or Betty.
- The 'index.html', this page
- "menasco_tree.pdf" is a
FTM descendent tree print out for John Menasco. This is produced in
Adobe Acrobat .pdf file format and is 56 pages in length. If you don't have the Adobe
Acrobat Reader you'll need it to examine the .PDF files in this web page. It's available
free from Adobe, see above to download (about 3 meg). This presentation shows John
Menasco (born in 1673) and 12 generations following him.
- "Analysis
of descendents John Menasco.pdf" is spreadsheet of generation distribution
among the 56 descendent tree presentation. If you're interested in a particular individual
its possible after locating the individual on the tree to move upward and determine
relatives without requiring detail knowledge and study of the descendent tree
presentation.
- -"locations.pdf' is six pages of
cities, towns, counties by state from the descendent tree. It gives the impression that 12
generations of Menasco's lived almost everywhere!
"name_index.html"
is html page all individuals from FTM John Menasco descendent tree.
This reference allows analysis of particular surnames and individuals outside of the FTM
tree presentation. We haven't determined how to 'link' these pages back to the tree
presentation so you must use the 'crtl/f' capability to search the John Menasco
tree..
Happy hunting and hope you find
something you are looking for.
